What Will We Learn?

AI-generated misinformation—also known as "AI slop"—is flooding our information ecosystem, making it harder than ever to separate fact from fiction. This session will explore the five major types of misinformation through an AI lens. Learn how AI tools are being used to create misleading content and discover media literacy strategies to help students detect and debunk it. Walk away with practical classroom activities and resources that empower students to think critically about AI-generated media and become more discerning digital citizens.


Who Should Attend?

This session is designed for educators teaching 5th-12th grade, but all are welcome!
